Description
Quarter CAR Software is a suspension analysis tool focused on helping racers, suspension tuners, and engineers better understand frequency response, transmissibility, and the influence of suspension parameters on ride behavior. Instead of replacing full vehicle simulation packages, the software provides a fast and intuitive environment for studying one corner of a car or one side of a motorcycle using quarter-car or half-bike style models.
Build suspension models using masses, springs, dampers, tuned mass dampers, and tire stiffness, then evaluate how changes in stiffness or damping influence resonance, vibration isolation, and chassis response. The software makes it easy to visualize how spring rates and damping characteristics shift system behavior across different frequencies and operating conditions.
Clear transmissibility plots, time-history graphs, and live schematic visuals help turn complex suspension theory into understandable engineering insight. Multiple suspension concepts can be compared within one project, and complete PDF reports can be generated to compare several models including plots, transmissibility graphs, and schematic images.
Quarter CAR Software is ideal for concept evaluation, education, tuning discussions, and quickly exploring “what-if” scenarios without the complexity of large multi-body simulation tools.
